| Take One - Family |

My family? They're good people. And sure, everybody probably says that but I've met a lot of people in my few years on this earth and they're the good kind. There's protocol in my mama's house. There's military in our blood. Military, God and good food. What more could you ask for? I'm so blessed to have a family that really supports me even if I chose to move to LA, took up acting as a kid and found myself a little albino family to settle down with. I always have their support. My mama's the first one I call, that`s her up there, how beautiful is she? Looks like she's not a day over 18. I know I'm making her proud and that's how I know I'm doing the right thing. That doesn't mean I'm not still goin out of my way to keep her happy. I've got my place with Ed, my little brother. I keep an eye on him, watchin' him come up in the world. He's making his own, doin it right.
 Ed's my second family, even if he counts as part of my blood family. He's a roommate and a friend and the best member of my entourage. He's a born ladies man so I usually end up playing wing man but that's alright. At least I know he's being taken care of. I watched him get his first real job a few months back, back when I got to come home to our apartment every night. He was so excited, and rightfully so. We've both been at this a long time but it takes that hard work. We're a lot alike but a lot different too. Our baby sister and I look like Mom and Ed looks like Dad. I'm into art and martial arts for the discipline. He's into it for the fighting, for the power and he couldn't tell a Monet from a snoopy cartoon. Trust me I've tried.
 My third family is a whole lot bigger than I'd ever imagined though the main core of us is 5. We're a team on screen and off. All that mumbo jumbo about every set being like family, say what you want but I'd lay down on the tracks for these cats. This picture is from one of the best nights of my life. It was the first time I kissed Beth. Okay okay, no it's not but it's the first night I couldnt get it off my mind. We all got together to celebrate the pilot ratings and we ended up climbing up onto our billboard on the strip. This is what I love about my family of crazy ass white people, you never know where you`re gonna end up but you know it`s gonna be memorable. We've got ma and pa, Tim and Gina. Tim is just a totally amazing person. He`s so calm and just a genius at work. He`s got this way with words and the camera. I`ve never seen anybody work the light like that guy. It`s a gift, not to mention he`s this great dad. He just knows stuff. Gina is way too young and fine to take the role of Ma but she likes to stick to Tim`s side when she`s not attached to Beth. I love this lady and she`s funny as hell though every once in a while we have no idea what the other one`s saying. Christian is a good man, though and through. Busier than sin but a good man. He fits in right like a brother, thinks he could kick my ass though. Not a chance in hell.
 Bethy`s one of those overlaps again. Just wait till she hears that, she and Ed have another something in common. She`s part of the team, part of the family but to me so much more. I`m not that guy that`s wanted to hurry things up. I`ve never been the one thinking I needed to settle down. I`m young, I`ve got a lot of things left to do but I also believe in God`s will and destiny and when something lands in your lap that feels so right, you cant fight that. We started out as something totally different. We started out as part of that family number three, as a support system and one day that just wasn`t enough anymore. Pilot is my boy. He`s a beautiful kid. I swear, I just want to paint him but I know he wouldnt stand still long enough to get a decent picture let alone for something like that. He`s a ball of energy and creativity and I need that in my life, every day. I love this whole crazy little family. So maybe it means I spend a lot more time washing jam out of my beard or teaching private kung fu lessons. I`m okay with that. I`ve got two free spirits with bright yellow hair that never sit down. I get to protect them and love them and right the wrongs. I think all my families and all my life I`ve been training for this. I`m ready.
